Meeting Bro. Benson Ondieki
For a long time now, the girls have known about Bro. Benson and the work he does in Africa. He runs a children's orphanage and teaches them how to provide for themselves with a garden and animals. He takes in many children, teaching them the Word of God and protecting them. There is often danger for them, and a great need financially. The girls continually pray for them all, and have looked forward to his arrival. When they saw him at church, they instantly went to him with big hugs. He was equally excited to meet our children. The only thing the girls were not expecting.......they could not understand him because of his accent! But they still had a wonderful time. I know Bro. Benson did as well!

3rd Annual Fall Party
For the past 3 years we have hosted our church family's Fall Party. Each year has just gotten better and better. Everyone seems to kick back, relax a little, and just have fun. This year, we had several corn hole boards available to keep the adults entertained. The kids ran around the swing set and basketball court. The littler children found left over corn in the field and sat for nearly 2 hours just shucking corn. They thought it was the coolest thing ever! Sherry brought all the kids flashlight rings that were a huge hit as well. We had chili and soups, hotdogs, and desserts galore. We ended the evening with another great hay ride. Can't wait to do it all again next year!

Lark Ranch
This year we took a little vacation over Fall Break from school. We visited family in Bloomington and took a trip to see Lark Ranch in Loogootee, Indiana. It was a fun time. We took 'Granny' along for the corn maze, tricycle rides, slide, pony rides, animal petting, and hay ride to the pumpkin patch. The temperature outside was nice, and made for a lot of fun. We recommend it to all!
